These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website arjuntravels.freetoolsin.com and the taxi and cab services provided by Arjun Travels (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. By booking a cab or using our website, you (“customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide taxi and cab rental services — including outstation trips, one-way drops, round trips, local rentals, airport transfers and tempo traveller hire — from Haldwani to destinations across India. Bookings are made by phone, WhatsApp or our website enquiry form.

2. Booking & Confirmation

An enquiry through the website, call or WhatsApp is a request only. A booking is confirmed solely when we acknowledge and accept it. All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability. Quotes shared before confirmation are estimates and may change.

3. Fares, Charges & Payment

Fares are based on the trip type, distance, route and vehicle category. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the fare quoted is exclusive of toll taxes, parking fees, state/border permits, GST (if applicable), night-driving charges and waiting charges, which are payable by the customer. The final fare may vary from the estimate due to actual distance travelled, route changes, detours, waiting time or additional stops requested by you. Payment terms (advance and balance) will be communicated at the time of booking and must be paid as agreed.

4. Driver & Vehicle

We will provide a vehicle of the booked category and a suitable driver. We reserve the right to assign or substitute any driver or vehicle of the same category at our discretion, including in case of breakdown or unavailability.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate booking details, be ready at the pickup point at the agreed time, carry valid identification where required, and behave respectfully with the driver. You must not carry any illegal, hazardous, prohibited or unlawful goods, or consume alcohol, smoke or use drugs in the vehicle. You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers in your party.

6. Luggage & Passengers

The number of passengers and amount of luggage must not exceed the rated capacity of the booked vehicle. We may refuse carriage of excess passengers or luggage, or require an upgrade at additional cost.

7. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay, loss or failure to provide service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road or vehicle breakdown, accidents, roadblocks, strikes, protests, government action, natural calamities or other force majeure events.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any trip shall not exceed the fare paid for that trip. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of business, missed connections, flights or events, arising from the use of our services.

9. Personal Belongings

You are solely responsible for your personal belongings during the trip. We are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to items left in or carried in the vehicle.

10. Right to Refuse or Terminate

The driver may refuse to begin or may terminate a trip without refund if the customer or any passenger is intoxicated, abusive, violent, carrying prohibited goods, or behaving in a manner that is unsafe, unlawful or threatening to the driver or vehicle.

11. Insurance

Our vehicles carry insurance as required under applicable law. Beyond such statutory insurance, passengers travel at their own risk and we accept no additional liability.

12. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Website Content

All content on this website, including text, logos and design, is the property of Arjun Travels and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nainital / Haldwani, Uttarakhand.
